A complete couch potato until 2012 with lots of weight to lose, Emilie started getting into fitness to better her health. In 2013, she ran her first OCR, a Tough Mudder, that she had to crawl across the finish line of due to a calf cramp. Never looking back, Emilie increased her OCR schedule in 2014 while also dabbling in Triathlons and indoor soccer. In 2015, she focused solely on OCR and documented her journey with her blog, Pushing Limits OCR. She completed a 3x Spartan Trifecta, and competed in a Spartan HH12HR, GORUCK Tough, and the OCR World Championships. Set to make her Elite debut in 2016 and increase her performance results drastically, Emilie was plagued with a series of non-sport related injuries that took her out for the entire season. Having qualified for the OCR World Championships in November of 2015, she was able to rehab enough to complete the 2016 race without injury or setbacks. Now able to consistently train, we look forward to seeing her progress in 2017.
